Complete Itinerary

You will be picked up from the airport and given the day off to relax so that you may make the most of your time on Thamel street, which is an extremely popular destination. It boasts a large number of restaurants, casinos, and shopping opportunities where one may purchase hiking equipment and supplies.

Following breakfast, we will make our way to Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport for our domestic flight. To go to Lukla, we will take an aircraft. The overall time spent in the air is thirty-five minutes. This flight will provide you with one of the most memorable experiences you've ever had in the air. The flight will take you over a number of valleys, each of which will provide you with a stunning panorama of the mountain ranges and the Nepalese communities perched above them. When you get to Lukla, our personnel will meet you there and take you to your hotel. We are going to start our hiking immediately and go all the way to Phakding. It is situated at an elevation of 2, 652 metres above sea level. A straightforward walk that takes around 2.5 hours to complete. The path will go through a number of quaint towns as well as some verdant highlands. The Tea House will serve as our home for the night.

The Namche Bazaar is our destination for today's hike. Namche is located at an elevation of 3,440 metres above sea level. The path is hemmed in on all sides by vast, verdant mountain ranges. Up till Namche, the Dudh Koshi river winds its way down the slope of the valley. Since Monjo is the final place before Namche where we can obtain food, we will have lunch there. The path that connects Monjo and Namche is one that winds its way through dense vegetation and progressively climbs upwards. Just before you reach Namche, you will have a brief opportunity to get a peek of Everest and Lhotse, but the views won't be very clear. Tea House is available for overnight stays.

We are going to start the day off a bit later than usual and then go to the Namche Museum, which is quite well known for the recently erected monument of Tenzing Norgay. Following our visit to the museum, we will make a brief ascent to Syangboche Airport, which is located directly above Namche Bazaar, and then we will continue along a path in the direction of Khumjung Village. There is a beautiful view of Everest, Lhotse, and Amadablam while you are in Syangboche, which is one of the reasons why the vista is so spectacular. In the 1970s, the legendary beast known as the Yeti was seen in the same settlement that is now known as Khumjung. Khumjung is a large community that is located at the foothill of the holy mountain Khumbila. Khumjung Monastery is where you may see a Yeti Scalp, or at least the local monks believe that it is a Yeti Scalp.

Tengboche is a little valley that is located at an elevation of 3860 metres. It is without a doubt one of the most breathtaking spots throughout the whole of our hiking trail. The Tengboche Monastery is a well-known and stunning location that is well deserving of a visit. The walk will take around six hours and be of a moderately challenging level.

We will begin our walk today and make our way towards the Pangboche settlement. Along the way, we will get some beautiful views of Mount Ama Dablam. It is possible that we will eat lunch in the hamlet of Shomare, which is the penultimate settlement before reaching Dingboche. After that, we will continue our walk to Pheriche and then continue on to the Imja Valley. We will be able to observe the Lobuche River, and we will walk across it on our way to Dingboche, which is a walk of moderate difficulty. Spend the night in a traditional Japanese tea house.

Acclimatisation will take place today as planned. We may go on a short walk to gain a view of Mount Lhotse, which is the fourth highest mountain peak in the world, and Mount Makalu, which is the fifth highest mountain peak. You will also notice a great deal of other peaks and mountain ranges in addition to these. Tea House is available for overnight stays.

Today marks the beginning of our walk, which will take us first to Dughla (4, 600 m) and then on to Lobuche (4, 940 m). Along this path, we will have the opportunity to see a large stream as well as a number of mountain peaks, some of which are as high as 7,138 metres, such as Mount Pumori, Mount Nuptse, Mount Cholatse, and Mount Thamserku. After we have traversed the Khumbu Glacier, we will have the opportunity to see some of the world's tallest mountains, including Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur. Although they would all seem to be in close proximity, it will not be able to get a peek of Everest from this vantage point. The total time spent hiking will be between six and seven hours, and the difficulty of the hike will be considered moderate. Tea House is available for overnight stays.

Because the path follows along the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, this will be an entirely moraine-based route. There is a good chance that the hike to Gorakshep (5, 170m) and Everest Base Camp (5364m) will be a moderate to tough hike. You will be able to get glimpses of Everest along the route, but you won't be able to obtain a comprehensive picture from base camp. However, the Khumbu icefall will be quite obvious. During this section of the hike, you will be surrounded by glaciers and get a close-up view of the enormous mountain. You will feel as if you are in paradise. Tomorrow, from our vantage point on Kala Patthar, we will get an excellent view of the summit of Everest. Spend the night at a Tea House in the town of Gorakshep.

Your ascent up Kala Patthar will be the most challenging and time-consuming portion of this particular trekking trip; nevertheless, it will also be the most rewarding. It will be possible for you to see the summit of Everest. In point of fact, Kala Patthar is the only location from where you will be able to see practically all of the high peaks that are located in the Himalayan Ranges that are close by. Going from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar will take around 2.5 to 3 hours of your time. After you reach Kala Patthar, the trail will consist entirely of descents from this point on, and it will become much easier, but you still need to be cautious along the slopes. To get to Pheriche at 4, 371 metres, we will need another three to four hours.

The journey won't be difficult at all today. As you make your way to Namche Bazaar, you will go via Tengboche. After passing Phungi Thanka, the route will first go in an upward direction for a little while before levelling off and continuing on to Namche Bazaar.

The journey to Lukla should take between 6 and 7 hours to complete. This will continue to be a straightforward journey. Just before we reach Lukla, there will be a little ascent. Spend the night at a Tea House in the town of Lukla.

Today, we will make our way to the airport to catch our flight to Kathmandu, during which time we will have the opportunity to take in breathtaking views of the valley below. This includes a full day of leisure activities as well as an overnight stay at the hotel.

In order to make your flight, we ask that you check out by 11 a.m.

Accommodation along the trekking route ranges from basic teahouses to more comfortable lodges on the Everest Base Camp Trek. Facilities can vary, but most teahouses provide simple rooms with basic amenities such as beds, hot showers, and bathrooms.

Charging spots for small electronics like phones, cameras, and battery packs are available at some places where you're staying, We will provide you with a 1-hour phone charge free, but for larger ones or longer times, you may have to pay extra to use them. This can be anywhere from 200 to 600 rupees, based on how far away you are from the power grid.

For charging your phone, you might want to look into getting portable power banks or solar chargers.

Although it's not required, having prior trekking experience is useful. But it's also crucial to be mentally and physically prepared. Preparation and training might lessen the difficulties of the hike.

Along the path, there aren't many medical facilities, but our guides carry a full medical kit with them and have been trained in how to use it. Also, we have movable altitude chambers that can help someone who is sick with Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) but can't leave because of bad weather.

When something goes wrong, the guide, who has to pass a medical course every year, takes care of it.

Our travelers and crew's safety is the most important thing to us. If someone in your group needs to go down, an assistant guide will go with them. We have a lot of helpers on the walk, so the person going down will be taken care of and won't get in the way of the other people's fun. In the worst situations, people would be flown out by helicopter.

Generally, trekking to Everest Base Camp is safe if proper precautions are taken. However, altitude sickness is a potential risk, and trekkers need to acclimatize properly. It's essential to trek with a licensed guide like us and follow safety guidelines.

Packing essentials include warm clothing, trekking boots, a down jacket, a sleeping bag, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, water purification tablets, and personal medications. A detailed packing list has been provided above

Just down the street from the Raddison Hotel in Kathmandu, there are a number of places where you can exchange money. It's also possible to change money in Thamel.

For people leaving Australia, the only place to change your AUD or USD into Nepalese rupees (NPR) is in Nepal. The Indian Rupee is not the same as the Nepalese Rupee. The Government of Nepal does not allow the sale, export, or use of 500 and 1000 Indian Rupee notes in Nepal.

You should know that it is hard to change NPR back into a foreign currency, and you won't be able to trade NPR once you get back to your own country. There are places in Nepal that might not let you change money back, so it's best to only switch the amount you need for your trip. In your pre-departure kit, there is a budget plan.

There are also ATMs in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Namche, which are all big towns. However, there are fees to use them, which may be on top of what your card or bank charges.

EBC Trek is suitable for experienced trekkers. Adults and seniors should carry doctors' notes for their fitness requirements for the journey. They should be fit enough to cover a 4 km distance in 30 minutes and should be able to carry at least a 10 kg backpack.
